Avatar Last Airbender Super Bowl Commercial

According to Advertising Age, Paramount Pictures has purchased ad time during this years Super Bowl for The Last Airbender. The commercial will probably be between 30 and 35 seconds. Avatar: The Last Airbender is scheduled to be released approximately 4 months after the commercial airs, on July 2, 2010. The Super Bowl commercial is going to kick off the hype-machine that will ensue. With 97 millions viewers last year, and as much or more expected for this year’s Super Bowl, the general public will get a great taste of what is to come.

While some of the general public will be exposed to the Last Airbender for the first time, many fans of the animated Avatar series are highly anticipating the Super Bowl commercial. There has not been much information leaked, or many live action scenes released yet. Some fans, myself included, really don’t know what to expect on July 2, 2010, when M Night Shyamalan’s film will make its debut. This commercial will at least give us a taste of what is to come!

The commercial will air some time during the Super Bowl on February 7, 2010 on CBS.
